When Jim bought his wife the new parrot he never thought that he would have any problems with the charming little bird. However, he was in for a shock when he took her home. Kim, his wife, decided to start calling the bird Jenny after her grandmother. Jim thought the name was lovely, but quickly learned that Jenny was going to be a pain in his life.

Since Jenny would walk on his shoulder the entire time in every store she knew what exactly they were getting. Then later on when they would run into Kim, Jenny would look at her and tell her in a really loud voice exactly everything that they had gotten that day.

One day though it was the worst ever. Jim had decided that he was going to get a mongoose mountain bike for Kim so she could get back in shape. The problem was that as soon as they got home Jenny decided that she was going to share what they had gotten with Kim.

As Jim sat down with a thud in the kitchen chair disappointed that Jenny had managed to ruin another surprise he remembered the pearl izumi shorts. Those shorts while not costing him much money was something that Jenny did not know about. So he jumped up happy and headed into the room with Kim. He handed her the bag and knew from the hug that he got that she was happy and surprised by the item that he gotten.

Jenny was not very happy when about him managing to sneak something past him and gave Jim a nasty look. Jim knew that he would have to do something though to sneak out of the house the next day. He walked out to his shop to think about what he could do that would allow him to get past her.

He decided that the thing that would keep her occupied would be some new toys. He walked back in and hung those up on her cage. Jenny hopped into the cage and started playing with them. While she was occupied with the toys Jim headed out to the store to purchase some new diamondback bikes. He never thought that he would get away with it, but he managed to.

Jenny woke up with a start as Jim walked back into the house. Then she started complaining to Kim that he had managed to get out without her. However, when they went outside she stopped her complaining because the custom made items had their own perches on it for Jenny to go biking with them.
