How To Remove Cat Urine Smell?

How to remove cat urine smell is one of the feline owner’s tasks. The odour of moggy urine is probably one of the most unpleasant smells a moggy owner will ever encounter. Since pussy-cats have a protein-laden diet than most other pets, their piss has a sharp odor that can be tricky to negate. There are many cat odor removal products sold by stores, and most of them are very costly. Unfortunately, these products sometimes only momentarily remove the odor of pussy-cat urine making the problem worse since during the time a pussy-cat owner things the problem is gone bacteria has a chance to spread. If you are a cat owner, there are 3 simple methods to remove feline urine smell from your home before it becomes a significant problem.
Baking Soda
Have you ever wondered why folk always place bicarbonate of soda in their refrigerators and freezers? Cooking soda is a natural odour neutralizer that draws, and gets rid of, strong smells. Bread soda may be employed on pussy-cat piss stains to help in the reduction of the powerful odor. Thoroughly apply cooking soda to the areas affected after it has been blotted dry and washed with water. Rub the baking soda into the area being treated as deeply as possible for most satisfactory results. Let the cooking soda dry, and vacuum excess powder or remainder to finish the process. Though cooking soda can't achieve the deep clean most people need, it's a good way to initially neutralise odours while you prepare yourself for more extensive cleaning.
Vinegar
For years owners of pets have used vinegar and water to dump pet odours on carpets. Though vinegar and water is effective, when dealing with kitty pee undiluted vinegar is a more sensible choice. Use white or apple vinegar to utterly saturate the affected area to eliminate odors that have seeped into the carpet or floor boards. Vinegar is safe to use on a range of surfaces including hardwood floor. The powerful smell of the vinegar should disperse in less than an hour, taking the powerful cat piss smell with it.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Though some cat owners would prefer to clean stains with bleach, if you are trying to safe an area from losing colour use hydrogen peroxide to kill remaining odours being caused by bacterial growth. Test a small area by pouring undiluted hydrogen peroxide on it. Wait 2 hours to determine if any bleaching happens before treating the remainder of the affected area. Totally soaking an area that a kitty urinated on with hydrogen peroxide will kill the bacteria that cause pet stains to start smelling again after a couple of days.
Repeat the Process
Do not be scared the repeat the process once or twice to ensure results. While a thoroughly cleaning should be adequate to entirely eliminate the smell of cat piss, anyone that has 1 or 2 pussies or who has one cat that has urinated in the same spot repeatedly, may gain advantage from repeat treatments. Once the area has been cleaned many times, use one final spray of vinegar to further repel the cat from the area to avoid another accident.
